It wasn’t normal for me. There was only one friend that I ever talked to about it. We were camping with our dads. My friend and I were in one tent and we were talking about whether or not to get undressed in our sleeping bags or just sleep in our clothes. How we got from that topic to talking about masturbation, I do not know. We were 13, I think. We felt awkward and never brought it up again.
